Once upon a time, ‘binary’ was a mathematical term. Now it is an insult on a par with ‘racist’, ‘sexist’ or ‘homophobic’, to be deployed as a weapon in our culture wars. The enemy on this particular battleground is anyone who maintains that there are men and there are women, and that the difference between them is fundamental.

This ‘binary’ distinction is accepted as a given by the vast majority of the human race. No matter. It is now being categorized as a form of bigotry. Utterly bizarre? Scoff at your peril. It’s fast becoming an enforceable orthodoxy, with children and young people particularly in the frame for attitude reassignment akin to Orwellian 1984 tactics.

The intention is to break down children’s sense of what sex they are and also wipe from their minds any notion of gender norms. In American schools, Novemeber 2015’s Transgender Awareness Month was a festival of such indoctrination. Children were handed out ‘pronoun buttons’, badges which identified their own preferred personal pronouns as specific to any gender they chose or none.

Further evidence of the war on male and female distinction can be found in the International Olympic Committees support of allowing men to compete as women as long as they meet certain testosterone requirements.  Another clear assault is led by Facebook.  On this ubiquitous social platform, one can choose from around 50 classifications of gender.

Regarding the merits of gender dysphoria, there are few.  If someone is born blind we do not celebrate their blindness, we celebrate their ability to overcome this disability.  If someone is born with one leg, we don’t denigrate or hobble all of us with two legs.  We don’t celebrate this disability either, we celebrate when that person overcomes this disability.  If someone wakes up one day and thinks that their right arm is trying to kill them, then we don’t give them a surgery to remove their right arm.  We treat the psychological problem.  Why do we treat the gender dysphoric any other way?  Celebrate them when they overcome either genetic or mental disabilities.  Don’t celebrate when they embrace their dysphoria.

Regarding the Left’s agenda, once gender fluidity is established, the next goals of the groups behind this movement are obfuscated or conflicted.  Will this totalitarian thought police of a new world order simply fade away?  Unlikely.  Giving these groups the benefit of doubt, maybe they will lead the way to a new civilization order of peace and prosperity.  Or maybe they are the unwitting or witting agents of the devil tearing  apart God’s order.

Either way, takers of the American Pledge choose our path as outlined in this verse:

XIII.  We recognize the beauty and distinct difference between man and woman. We recognize that the family of one man, one woman and their children is the ideal and our most important social unit.

We like the simplicity of male or female and believe that this order was God’s plan as described in his Book.   We will let this issue rest as it has for thousands of years.  We will focus our attentions on building a better society of just men and women.
